Player Registration

Parents can register online or in person, after the coaches registration.   Player registration is a first come - first serve process.  Players have the option of submitting a team request to be placed on a team with his or her buddy. Team requests are not accepted for the Champion Division due to the fact that teams are decided by player evaluations. There is a non-refundable late fee of $15 if a child enrolls after the registration period ends.  For further details, download the Parent-Coach Handbook.

Tip-Off

The "Tip-Off" is the official FIRST day of basketball and is considered one of the two-days of practice only sessions.  Tip-Off day is a day for parents, players, and coaches to become acquainted with each other, pass out materials, and discuss the expectations of everyone around the YBL league guidelines.  For further details download the Parent-Coach Handbook.

Practice / Games

The first two days of the season are designated as practice only sessions.  After which, practices will be stressed at the first 15 minutes of the team's game day, so it is important that parents are on time.  Each team will practice on their side (one-half) of the court, then apply what they are learning from practice in a game with the other team scheduled on the other side of the court.  Please remember, this is a NON-COMPETITIVE basketball league.  No score is kept for the rookies division, and the score is reset at half-time for the winners division. Schedules can be viewed and downloaded by clicking the link on your left.  For further details download the Parent-Coach Handbook.
